Tuesday Tips and Techniques: Working with Freezer Paper for Batik Watercolor

In Ryan Fox’s video workshop, “Innovative Watercolor Techniques” with tips from his video, he shows you how to make amazing paintings with rice paper and the batik process.

When working with wax, keep your rice paper from sticking to your board by wrapping it in freezer paper. (And by gently lifting it after each application.) You want to tape your freezer paper to your board. (Shiny side up!) But regular tape won’t hold freezer paper. Never fear! Use duct tape. It works great.
